Made what was to be my last payment. They never sent my final statement. I call and ask when I was going to receive title and the rep tells me I owe another payment. Wait! What?? I paid my last payment! She says I didn't call for a payoff. No because the last payment was my payoff. So I pay for 5 years and now you want a extra payment?? Seriously?? Wtf!

Got coronavirus can't make a payment I'm sick and threatened cause your behind a month company is trash

Very unprofessional attitudes your agents do not seem to be able to communicate with the public on a professional level They act as thou they hate there jobs and hate people they act like the hated the fact that you even called them I will never use this company again and I will make sure not to give you guys a reference in the future

Worst purchase ever. Purchased furniture from Rooms to Go in Montgomery, AL. Purchased furniture during a promotional offer which I was told it was 0% interest for 6 months by the sales representative &;;;;;;;; management, when actually it was 0% Interest deferred for 6 months. Which I found out after trying to pay the amount in full that is listed on my account online that they charge the interest up front if you dont pay it off in the 6 months time frame. They switched the statements after sending me an initial statement stating the terms the Representative who sold me the furniture stated. I recommend please read the fine fine very small print. They hit me for over $600 in interest and I was only one month off from paying the full amount. I called the customer service line and with the supervisor on 3 way from the store so they could here the deceptive tactics they used to swindle me out of my money. I wouldnt have agreed to the contract knowing the interest was 34.99% after the 0 for 6 months no interest as I was told in the first place. This company takes advantage of those who have fair credit and in need of furniture. This company not only did that, but in the mist of the epidemic that has hit our country unexpectedly doesnt care about still putting hard earnest working consumers in further debt. Debt that is more than half of the original amount financed. I recommend reading the fine print! They are non-negotiable and greedy! I asked the representative what the company was doing for those in the mist of the epidemic and she told me that they were only deferring the payments for this month putting it on the back end and still charging compound interest on top of the deferred interest which was the 6 months interest plus monthly still outside of the promotion offer. It wasnt a deal it was a scam! I was so disgusted with the tactics used being a sales representative myself. I believe in giving people the information and allowing them to choose so there want be any remorse. I feel sorry for those who currently are still financing with this company or even planning on purchasing from Rooms to Go in the future. They discriminate with interest rates and trap you into compound interest contracts. There is no deal or empathy for the consumer. I wish I wouldve researched the finance company ahead of time. I would never ever recommend this finance company or rooms to go to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM ROOMS TO GO & ESPECIALLY TIDEWATER FINANCE!

I bought a car the dealership told me that i would be finance under another company whole time it was tidewater. They are horrible i would never recommend them to anyone AT ALL. It started off when they tried to verify my place of resident and told me i didnt live where i said i did. Im sorry how did you come up with that conclusion? Just like you work during business hours so do i genius. Did you really think i was going to be at home at 2pm on a Wednesday?????? Then i was going through a rough time financially so i asked could that month payment be put on the back of the loan the lady told me no and that i have a 10 day grace period. If i dont have it now what makes you think Im going to have it in 10 days. Overall i just wish i can get away from them.

My sister bought a car from you guys and 10 years plus you are garnishing her check not cool. I would never do business with you. The car was repossessed also. CROOKS.

To make a long story short, I was having my wages garnished (my fault I admit that), but I have since paid it off, and yet the garnishment continues. You can't reach anyone to discuss this, when they do they refer you to their attorneys who tell me they can continue to garnish me indefinitely. Not sure what to do.

Made a purchase from Rooms To Go. The credit terms were one year of interest free payments on a $3,000 purchase. After 6 months. Tidewater added on the unpaid interest to my account. When i called they argued that these were not the terms. I sent them a copy of my paperwork and they claim they never received it. I have paid for the merchandise AND some of the interest added on, but refuse to pay anymore to this scam.

I bought some furniture from Rooms to go. The total cost was 1800.00 I was told. I have paid for this furniture and they are now saying there was a balance of 324.00 and they know put a garnishment on me for 3,334.00 when supposedly I still owe them 324.00. What can I do

I needed to take advantage of the deferment program that they advertise on their website for people who have things happen that cause you to get behind. I had a long domestic issue in which I had to relocate and miss time from work for court appearances, etc. These people got very personal and wanted exact dates of things and the questions were just absurd that they say they needed to ask just to defer a stupid car payment. It isn't a rocket. It is a car. And I am just insulted because I told this person the answers, who kept saying that she can't hear me and to repeat. I am at work and they literally made me scream it loud enough for other people to hear my personal business and then commented that they need to know the personal business in order to get a deferment approval. That is ridiculous and I will be refinancing or trading in as soon as I can.

I have paid these bums over $30,000 for a vehicle that was only worth $17,000. I still owe ($4000 which I don't understand) and offered them a settlement of $2000 and have my account state paid in full. They would not accept my settlement. IF YOU NEED A CAR JUST CATCH THE BUS IF YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH THEM.

My husband and I bought a bed from Rooms To Go and without telling us they went through Tidewater Finance Company to get us the bed. It was only after we received the first bill that we realized we were not paying Rooms To Go but a third party and by then it was too late. Then in 2017 after making payments faithfully for over a year, my husband changed jobs and we could no longer afford the bed. I contacted Rooms To Go to have them come pick up the bed and was told I would have to contact Tidewater to have them make the pick up arrangements with Rooms To Go, however when I contacted Tidewater I was very rudely told that they do not repossess property, that we would either make the payments or face the consequences. Since then I have contacted them on many occasions and attempted to work out alternatives and they flat out told me they didn't want the property they wanted the money. Then about two months after not sending a payment they began calling me two and three times a day harassing me, so I blocked their number. In December of 2018 they contacted my husband's former employer for verification of employment, and that was more than a year and a half after he had changed jobs. His former employer called and informed him that Tidewater called them, so then I called them and tried once again to work something out, but like every other time I had talked to them the lady was very rude and point blank said they wanted the money and would not take the property back and were not willing to provide other options. Now they have served us with papers suing us for way more than they deserve. Please do not do business with them, you will regret it. They are predatory lenders as well as secretive lenders, they will grant you credit as a third party and you will not know it till you get your first bill. I fully believe they need to be shut down.

Verbal promises that are not backed up. Susery late charges. I will never ok financial help from these rude crooks!
